Module 6 | Surf Skate Advanced | Surf Simulation Series | Accelerated Surf Program
Skating in a ramp or a bowl is the closest thing to surfing outside of the water. It allows a surfer to feel the different angles and the different forces that they would feel when carving the face of a wave. Using a ramp highlights and helps remove the fear and lock in a surface potential on the wave, as it allows the surfer to quickly layer techniques and movements. What might’ve taken a surfer hundreds of waves can now be accomplished in just a few minutes on a surf skate.
